Donations are what keeps the program alive. This is a non profit orginazation, and works soely off of volunteers. The site does not charge for its use. Your donations are used to support the site, packaging, and helps to support in country shipment cost of the care packages. Your donations are highly appriciated.
Donation Destination
Websites are not easy to maintain, and often there are maintaince cost, or work that may require outsourcing to freelances. Though mailing to soldiers overseas is free, our users send their packages within the states before it is re-delivered to the soldiers, your donations can help cover the related cost.
Donating Helps
Are you willing to donate? If so here is one way that your donations are highly appriciated. Many times people who "pick up" a soldiers request every month, don't have the money or time to go out looking for boxes. So we are now using donations to help fund our give-a-box program. This program enables us to give away boxes to our soldiers guardians. There are many ways to help here at trooppackage.com
We have recieved numerous letter from deployed soldiers asking us to help fund their units to recieve televisions for their company rest areas and MWR facilities. So as of this year we are taking 20% of all donations and doing just that. Your donation will help to provide units deployed with entertainment, please help us in reaching our goal of helping each deployed unit in Iraq recieve a television.
