As a trooppackage.com volunteer one of the most important things you can do is to become a mailer, you will be one of the people that recieves request that have been picked up, and be responsible for mailing them to the soldier. You must pass a background check. To get involved click here.

The Gold Program is for those that have more time to spend, and for those that wish to go above and beyond. You will recieve a package in the mail pertaining to your responsibilities and instructions. To fill out the simple form to request the package, it's free and you can opt out any time. click here.

FORT BENNING, GA - Volunteers with trooppackage.com offer a helping hand with mailing out boxes from our Guardians. These volunteers helped sort and mail out over one thousand boxes to troops deployed to Iraq. Marry, a military spouse said she understands how important it is to the troops, and every small gesture helps.

FORT BENNING, GA - The National Infantry Museum was filled this past Sunday with volunteers who had recently returned from a deployment themselves. Thier families accompanied them, as they prepared to help meet the "pick up" request of the soldiers who had replaced their unit in Iraq. SGT Owen said "It meant so much to me and the guys when we were deployed, that we wanted to find a way to give back. It seemed fitting to help out the unit that would be replacing us."

SCHOFIELD BARRACKS, HI - Volunteer Samantha Orton sits down with SPC Barnes and discusses ways that they could improve on the delivery methods, and ways that our program would work better for the troops. SPC Barnes said "She really likes how the troops get to choose what they want, and that it set us apart from the rest of the care package orginizations." She recomended that we find a way to get care packages to the troops faster. She and Orten are now helping to create a plan that will allow for a faster delivery of trooppackage.com care packages.
